  • Ensure strategic directions of projects are in line with business objectives
  • Create and manage project plans, risk mitigation plans, resource requirements, project costs and all other project management-related documentation
  • Define team member roles and expectations; ensure all members of team are engaged and utilized; provide timely feedback
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between vendors, sub-contractors and different teams

  • QNXT, Amisys and other healthcare vendors
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies such as RUP, RAD, or OOD
  • Strong understanding of current technologies
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal  and communication skills

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Oleen Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting is seeking individuals to provide Electronic Health Record ( EHR ) training, implementation and consulting services for medical practices. The qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience working with ambulatory electronic health record systems or equivalent.

The position will work from Oleen Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting’s Central New York offices in Syracuse area. The position will fulfill a key role for the Company’s new services offerings designed to help physicians successfully move from paper to electronic patient records. Some travel may be required.

  • Provides hands-on expertise for implementation, configuration, training and on-going support of EHR implementations to include analysis, possible system configuration, operational implementation, process documentation and testing for managed care clients
  • Develop and recommend operational processes and/or process improvements in support of clients
  • Define and analyze business goals, objectives, needs, processes and requirements for governmental and production-related system changes
  • Recommend system modifications enhancements, new system development and/or business process change

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three years of experience working with ambulatory electronic health record systems or equivalent
  • Functional and analytical knowledge of various EHR systems such as Clinical Works (ECW), NexGen, Allscripts, Centricity and/or Intergy
  • Proven configuration skills in one or more of the EHR systems
  • Proven training experience with EHR programs
  • Knowledge of implementation lifecycle
  • Experience in clinical workflow
  • Served as a team member on one or more EHR implementation(s)
  • Strong analytical skills
